Barden is exclusively partnering with a global organisation in Cork to identify a qualified Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This role sits within a large, well-established Shared Service Centre (SSC) and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.As a Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for the accounting activities of multiple entities, while also contributing to cross-functional projects that support wider business objectives. Manage General Ledger accounting for one or more entities.
Review and post month-end close transactions.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and local GAAP.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across EMEA.
Prepare KPIs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate audit support.
Assess processes, recommend improvements and drive efficiencies.

ABOUT THE PERSON

Qualified Accountant with 2 – 4 years PQE.
Experience with US GAAP and SAP is desirable.
Strong technical accounting skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a track record of working effectively across different functions and cultures.
