Communications & Marketing OfficerLocation: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid)Contract: 12-Month Maternity Leave Cover - Specified PurposeSalary: €50,000 - €55,000 per annumA well-established semi-state organisation based in Dublin City Centre is seeking an experienced and driven Communications & Marketing Officer to join their Corporate Affairs and Public Relations team. This is a hybrid role offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, purpose-driven organisation that plays a central role in Ireland's public and regulatory landscape.Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of internal and external communications strategies across a wide range of organisational activities.
  • Develop and deliver consumer-focused communications including press releases, briefings, media content, and public engagement campaigns.
  • Manage and grow digital communication channels including social media, website, and intranet content.
  • Create and coordinate marketing materials, advertisements, and branded collateral.
  • Assist in planning and executing national campaigns, including liaising with external creative and media agencies.
  • Deliver internal communications such as staff events, training sessions, and newsletters.
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage and engagement; maintain media databases and conduct relevant research.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of corporate publications, CSR initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and safety promotion.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar communications or marketing role (in-house or agency).
  • A third-level degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing and communication strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and tone.
  • Experience managing digital channels and creating engaging content across social media and websites.
  • Familiarity with Ireland's media landscape and stakeholder environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with design/editing tools such as Adobe Suite or Canva.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
