DCE IRL, a well-established Chartered Engineering Consultancy based in Dundalk, has a new vacancy for a Graduate Civil Engineer. The duties of the Graduate Civil Engineer include, but are not limited to the following: • Assist in the civil design for a variety of projects • Familiarisation with the various design software / IT programs being used by the Civil Team • Follow instructions and ensure that tasks are completed satisfactorily within strict deadlines • Work alongside a team of Engineers / Technicians • Carry out a range of professional civil engineering assignments while learning the methods of the work Requirements: • Must hold Bachelor's (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering • A proven ability to work to strict deadlines • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) • Fluency in English Personal Attributes: • Pleasant personality with the ability to form good and respectful professional working relationships with a wide range of professional colleagues • Potential to work effectively under pressure • Be a good team-player • Have a willingness to learn
