Summary: Primarily responsible to provide a support service to the site as part of the FM-Services team specializing in calibration work. To ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance to relevant SOP’s and cGMP’s.The successful candidate will be required to work shift which is a mix of days & nights.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Comply with site safety policies and strive to maintain an accident free environment.Ensure documentation of maintenance activities to cGMP’s standards both in paper based records and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Maintaining the physical condition and environment of all areas.Provide Instrumentation/Calibration support to Facilities, Quality Assurance Team, Engineering and Operations.Adhere to and remain current in assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintain an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance.Support continuous improvement, 5S and Lean initiatives.Promotes quality and customer service.Follows current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs).Have the ability to work with automated control systems and with low voltages.Have the ability to loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and startup of instrumentation.Have the ability to calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow and analytical instruments.Have the ability to communicate with mid and senior management within the facilities department.Occasionally work on other Process/Utility/Facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department’s normal work duties.Education and Experience:A relevant recognised Trade qualification, third level qualification is preferred; along with 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
