Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. The eligible participant will receive full training in all aspects of the placement. There will be a mentor to guide and coach the participant. They will assist and learn the day-to-day tasks of the placement in the daily running and operations of a busy Gym, over the 6 months they will: - Assist with guidance on scheduling fitness classes and timetabling. - Assist with mentoring on membership administration and sales. - Training on Microsoft office training on Outlook, Word and Excel. - Training on communication skills and teamwork. - Mentored on providing general Gym instruction. - Assist with Social Media/Marketing Training.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP Formal Training: WPEP QQI Work Experience Module and candidate will be supported in any other training required.
