TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing on behalf of a leading nursing home group. This is a newly bought reburnished 60+ bedded nursing home based just South of Waterford city.This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday - weekends are on rotation.This nursing home is due to open at the beginning of June.Requirements:Third level degree in nursing is required.Must be registered with An Bord Altranais and possess an active PIN.Up-to-date certifications in infection control, manual and resident moving & handling, medication management, CPR, dementia care, and safeguarding of vulnerable adults are necessary (training available if needed).A post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential; otherwise, the appointee will undergo necessary training.Additional post-registration qualifications in gerontology or dementia care are advantageous.A minimum of three years of prior work experience in a managerial role is required.At least three years of experience in eldercare nursing within the past six years is necessary.A minimum of six years of post-registration nursing experience is essential.Demonstrated clinical proficiency and a dedication to providing exceptional care for older individuals. Possession of a full Irish driver's license and access to personal transportation is mandatory.Benefits:
