Domestic Transport Planner - South DublinDomestic Transport Planner - South DublinWe are seeking a Domestic Transport Planner to join a growing distribution team based in South Dublin. This role is ideal for an experienced transport planner or logistics administrator who wants to further develop their career in a fast-paced environment. The position focuses on managing day-to-day domestic distribution while supporting broader operational projects across Ireland, the UK, and beyond.Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage the daily scheduling of domestic deliveries in line with internal procedures.Ensure delivery needs are met in the most cost-efficient and effective manner.Maintain accurate files, ensuring billing and costing are processed within agreed timeframes.Provide regular updates to customers on delivery progress, managing any exceptions or changes.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues quickly.Promote a positive work environment by supporting colleagues and working to shared goals.Adhere to operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.Carry out administrative duties including reporting, investigations, and data management.Prepare and distribute delivery and performance reports for stakeholders.Support wider Operations projects on a domestic distribution basis when required.Candidate Requirements:Previous experience in a domestic transport planning role (2+ years desirable).Strong IT and systems skills, including ERP and Excel.Knowledge of the logistics/freight forwarding sector advantageous.Good geographical knowledge of Ireland and the UK.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.Strong numeracy, literacy, and analytical ability.Clear communication skills with proven performance results.Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented.Why Choose Clark? * Inclusive & Supportive: We welcome diversity, ensure equal opportunities, and provide reasonable accommodations for interviews.
