
Operations Manager

- Oversee daily operations across several accommodation sites
- Support reception, housekeeping, and maintenance supervisors
- Ensure alignment of processes and service standards
- Adjust staffing levels and scheduling to meet seasonal demand
- Conduct regular site and room inspections
- Champion high service standards for all guests and residents
- Manage escalated guest issues, feedback, and incidents
- Maintain accurate daily logs and reporting to senior management
- Drive process improvements and SOP development
- Ensure compliance with H&S, GDPR, and internal policies
- Oversee facilities and maintenance issue resolution
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of staff
- Manage rotas, attendance, and performance tracking
- Support team leads with ongoing coaching and development
- Lead staff briefings and contribute to senior meetings
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners for seamless service
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
- Promote strong safety and emergency protocols
- Monitor access, security, and cash handling procedures
- Address and report hazards or incidents as required
- 5+ years' experience in hospitality, accommodation or facilities operations
- Proven leadership in a multi-site or complex environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Financial awareness and operational problem-solving mindset
- Flexible, solutions-focused and guest-oriented
- Familiarity with accommodation systems
- Flexibility to work evenings / weekends
