We are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading organisation based in Little Island, Cork. The role offers a hybrid work model and presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with strong Irish payroll experience to manage the end-to-end payroll process.As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll for all employees. Your responsibilities will include:Collating and reviewing payroll information from various business units, ensuring all data is accurate before processingProcessing weekly payroll using Sage PayrollPreparing bank files for upload and generating detailed payroll reports for managementCreating and posting weekly payroll journals to the accounting packageMaintaining the employee master file and databaseManaging the final payroll for all leaversDealing with queries from employees, depot managers, and accountants with professionalism and clarityCompleting salary certificates and other necessary forms for employeesPerforming ad hoc reports and analysis as requiredCollaborating effectively as part of a supportive payroll teamThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end Irish payroll and possess the following key competencies:Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under tight deadlinesAn extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracyA high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretionExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong written and spoken EnglishThe ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamA strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasksThis is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact within a dynamic organisation in one of Cork's key industrial hubs.
