
Maintenance Technician

- Perform general maintenance duties, including painting, masonry, basic carpentry, and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to deliver day-to-day maintenance and installations across the hospital and residential areas.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records.
- Maintain high standards of decoration and general building appearance.
- Prioritise tasks from the maintenance log in consultation with departmental managers.
- Carry out regular safety inspections, including checks on emergency lighting, fire alarms, and firefighting equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues, coordinating prompt repair to minimise service disruption.
- Liaise with on-site tradespeople and external contractors as needed.
- Promote and uphold a safe and well-maintained environment across all facilities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives led by the Head of Facilities Management.
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably within a healthcare or similar setting
- Ability to work independently and manage varied maintenance challenges
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices
- Carpentry, painting, and/or decorating experience
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Full, clean European driving licence (essential)
