If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in the motor sector our client has a great opportunity for you to join their dynamic and collaborative team in a work environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the allocation and distribution of motor inventory to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen interest in motor sales trends.Our client is based in Dublin 22. This is a permanent role offering a salary circa €50k plus fully expensed company car, pension and benefits.DUTIES OF THE ROLE
  • Inventory Allocation: Manage the allocation of automotive inventory to dealerships based on sales forecasts, market demand, and inventory levels.
  • Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate sales forecasts for various automotive models and regions.
  • Inventory Optimization: Continuously monitor inventory levels and adjust allocation strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
  • Communication: Liaise with dealership representatives to gather feedback on inventory needs, address concerns, and provide support as needed.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse sales data, market trends, and historical performance to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven allocation decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on inventory allocation, sales performance, and market trends for management review.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales, inventory management, or supply chain planning preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
