Location: WaterfordWe are looking for a Production /Quality Supervisor to join our expanding teamThe role involves supporting our wonderful team on a daily basis with the following activities
- Correct labelling of products and creation of correct labels using bartender software.
- Ensuring full traceability is being followed
- Control of and documentation of stock going into production
- Ensuring Food safety criteria is being followed
- Assistance with preparation for Customer and Bord Bia Audits.
- Assistance with documentation of the growing activities
- Ensuring Stock rotation is being followed
- Notifying management of any maintenance issue
- Ensuring all stock is available for orders and timely notification of Management of any delays
- Supervision of production staff, noting performance absenteeism, etc, dealing with production staff queries and issues.
- Production staff training and induction etc.
- Ordering consumables – packaging, detergents, knives etc
- Working with the food Safety consultant ensuring that all documentation is kept up to date and all SOP’s are being followed on a daily basis.
- Work with long term existing staff on continual improvements with view to improving efficiencies
- Any other duties as they arise.
- Filing of all production documentation
- Previous experience in a food production, cooking or serving in a food area
- Experience in a food production kitchen,restaurant,factory or canteen
- Able to use a computer and input information
- Good at keeping files up to date
- Ability to operate forklift safely (desirable but not essential)
