Accounts Payable Specialist

- Owning the end-to-end accounts payable process in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment
- Running weekly payment cycles โ making sure suppliers get paid on time, every time
- Making sure employee expenses are up to date, backed by the right documentation
- Ensuring invoices are properly approved and VAT is treated correctly across multiple countries
- Partnering with the accounting, F, P & A and tax teams for accurate financial statement and tax reporting
- Acting as a go-to point of contact for vendor queries and keeping relationships smooth
- Collaborating across teams to troubleshoot issues and clear up invoice discrepancies
- Reconciling vendor statements and keeping account balances accurate
- Driving a clean, timely AP month-end close
- Onboarding new suppliers and maintaining accurate supplier records
- Supporting the monthly close and jumping in where needed to keep things on track
- Spotting gaps in reporting and helping shape better, smarter AP insights
- Getting hands-on with finance projects and pushing forward process improvements
- Playing an active role in rolling out group-wide accounting systems and tools
- Tackling ad hoc admin and operational tasks to keep things moving
- 3+ yearsโ experience in an accounts payable or finance-related role
- Comfortable with ERP platforms โ Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or similar
- Deep understanding of AP workflows, and a solid grasp of EU VAT rules
- Obsessed with accuracy and detail โ you catch the small stuff before it becomes a problem
- Calm under pressure and confident working to tight deadlines
- You get the importance of strong internal controls and good process hygiene
- Excellent communicator โ you know how to keep things clear, helpful, and human
