Channel Partner Manager - Northern EuropeOur EMEA Channel Team is growing, and we are looking for a CHANNEL PARTNER MANAGER covering Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, and the Nordics). The purpose of the new role is to Acquire, Develop and Manage our Channel Partners in the region within the framework of our partner program: Itron Engage.What will you do?Create New Partnerships.
  • Prepare a compelling pitch to onboard carefully selected channel partners in your markets.
  • Identify, contact, pitch, sign, and onboard new channel partners to support the budget plan.
  • Work closely with the local sales team and regional leadership to synchronize efforts and deliver impactful initiatives as a team.
Develop & retain existing partner accounts.
  • Establish account plans for key accounts, in alignment with the Itron sales, presales and marketing teams & financial objectives.
o Drive adoption of new products & margin rich solutions;o Orchestrate transition of low revenue end-customer accounts to the channel;
  • Ensure proper execution of the account plan and business activities for all key partner accounts in your region aligned to the partner lifecycle. Such activities include:
o Contract lifecycle, vetting and onboarding of existing and new partners.o Partner Enablement: Collaborate on demand generation activities with channel partners and provide comprehensive support and guidance regarding product and solution campaigns in your region.o Partner Enablement: develop product and solution activations plans and associated training assignments to key account contacts.o Partner Enablement: Develop partner selling capabilities and provide support tools such as demo units and solution kits as partners are activated on more solutions.o Partner Enablement: Strive to grow you partners Itron portfolio and revenue contribution aligned to Itrons company goals and objectiveso New Product Introductions: identify target partners and drive growth in NPI’s through effective partner enablement strategieso Working with the Itron Engage program leader, drive adoption of self-services tools and program dashboards within your partner community.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with partners, collaborating closely to achieve shared goals.
  • Foster engagement within the channel community, addressing conflicts and challenges promptly.
Performance Measurement, Operational Excellence & Market awareness.
  • Track and report enablement progress of your accounts to share progress in the region.
  • Drive excellent program hygiene through CRM (Salesforce) and PRM (IMPartner).
  • Share key learnings & adopt best practices with your peers in other regions.
  • Market Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

  • Experience in Channel Partner Management (5-10y) linked to program management​.
  • Proven track record of setting up account plans and delivering them successfully​.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in an international environment and matrixed organization.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build positive relationships, and engage across all levels in the organization.
