- Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals that meet patient dietary requirements.
- Lead or support daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and consistency.
- Mentor and guide kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
- Follow HACCP, cook-chill, and food safety procedures to maintain the highest standards.
- Manage inventory, food storage, labelling, and waste control.
- Work closely with dietitians and healthcare teams to plan menus and adapt meals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all HSE and health & safety regulations.
- Qualified chef (QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent)
- Experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare catering, or high-volume catering.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and cook-chill procedures.
- Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
- Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
- €20.29/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
- Full-time, daytime hours (typically 7:00 am – 6:00 pm).
- Varied shifts Monday to Sunday to meet client needs.
- No late-night or overnight shifts.
