We're looking for a professional Rigid Truck Driver with a valid Class C licence and proven driving experience in Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent position, working domestic routes Monday to Friday, with a standard 39-hour work week and opportunities for paid overtime.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate rigid trucks to transport goods across Ireland along domestic routesLoad, secure, and unload cargo following manual handling and safety protocolsPerform routine vehicle checks (pre-trip and post-trip) and report any maintenance issuesAccurately complete delivery documentation and log hours workedRepresent the company professionally during customer interactionsRequired Qualifications & Skills
Must have:Valid Category C (Rigid) driving licenceExperience on Irish roads (e.g., familiar with urban and rural routes, road signage, driving conditions)Competent in manual handling in compliance with health and safety standardsStrong punctuality, reliability, and awareness of road safetyAbility to follow instructions, and work independently and responsiblySchedule & HoursMonday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AMStandard 39-hour weekOvertime available beyond 39 hours, paid at time and a halfCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay rate (to be discussed during hiring process)Overtime paid at 1.5× standard rateDaily food allowance, depending on route distance:Short-haul: €9/dayMid-haul: €TBCLong-haul: €23/dayWhy Choose Clark?
