Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled O&M Management Engineer to oversee the electrical and HVAC systems that power their cutting-edge facilities.As a key member of the Data Centre Operations team, you will:- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day performance of suppliers and ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
- Optimise Infrastructure: Continuously review and refine O&M strategies for power, HVAC, and BMS systems.
- Drive Energy Efficiency: Analyse energy consumption data and implement optimisation initiatives.
- Coordinate Maintenance: Collaborate with vendors to execute thorough inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Manage Faults: Monitor fault reports and ensure swift, effective resolution.
- Support Upgrades: Contribute to infrastructure expansion and upgrade planning.
- Enhance SOPs: Evaluate and improve standard operating procedures for operational excellence.
- Lead Teams: Supervise internal O&M staff, delegate tasks, and assess performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align infrastructure with evolving business needs.What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or HVAC Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data centre operations and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of power systems, HVAC, and BMS technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Electrical Engineer, HVAC Engineer).
- Proven ability to manage suppliers and lead technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
