Type: Full-timeWe are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Architectural Technologist to join a growing architectural team delivering high-quality projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, and public sectors. This role is ideal for a technologist who enjoys taking ownership of technical delivery, coordinating with consultants, and supporting projects from design development through to construction and site stages.You will play a key role in driving technical standards, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with regulatory, design, and programme requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and coordination of detailed technical drawings and Revit models
- Take responsibility for technical delivery across planning, tender, and construction stages
- Coordinate architectural information with engineers, specialists, and external consultants
- Ensure full compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, fire safety, accessibility, and planning conditions
- Review and develop construction details with a strong focus on buildability and quality
- Support project teams during construction, responding to RFIs and technical queries
- Attend design team meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities where required
- Oversee drawing reviews, quality control, and document issue procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technologists
- Contribute to sustainable design objectives including energy efficiency and low-carbon solutions
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in an architectural or architectural technology practice
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology
- Advanced proficiency in Revit; strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (SketchUp experience beneficial)
- Excellent technical detailing skills with strong on-site and construction knowledge
- Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects across residential, commercial, or public sector sectors
- Strong understanding of Irish planning systems, Building Regulations, and compliance processes
- Experience preparing coordinated planning, tender, and construction documentation
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Fire safety coordination experience or working knowledge would be advantageous
