This will enable the Ryanair Group to grow traffic to 300m passengers by 2034.The RoleRyanair is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Systems Manager.Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the Systems Manager will be responsible for the Systems Department, across the Ryanair Group Airlines.As Technical Services Systems Manager, you will manage the team to ensure the department successfully delivers its core objectives, while also meeting the challenges of the continuing growth of the Ryanair Group. Responsibilities include.· Providing subject matter expertise for all Systems excluding Avionics & Powerplant· Liaising with Boeing/Airbus and equipment manufactures on resolution of technical issues· Providing technical support to Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance· Review of OEM service documents· Support of the Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet· Creation of technical reports in support of issues (e.g. Incidents; Significant Defects)· Provide management of special projects and other duties as required from time to timeRequirements:
  • The successful person will have at least 5 years' experience working in an airline/MRO in a similar/relevant role.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Boeing 737 and A320 design and maintenance.
  • A knowledge of EASA - Part M; Part 145; Part 21; Part-CAT; CS- 25; and FAA - FAR 25; FAR 121 regulations
  • Be able to drive compliance and efficiency improvements in the technical services provided by the Systems Department.
  • You will be able to demonstrate the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair's Engineering organisation and have previous staff management experience.
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Excellent management and communication skills are a must as is an ability to drive results to tight timelines.
