- Oversee and monitor the delivery of the project around schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract and risk, liaising with the relevant team members and functions as required
- Develop Project Execution Plan's, ensuring the project is aligned to and delivers in accordance with the Contracting Entity's standards and methods
- Engage with and manage the project relationship with the Operation teams
- Ensure robust governance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle, including adherence to stage gate approvals and reporting standards
- Act as the key client interface, providing clear, concise, and timely updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability at all stages
- Develop and manage budgets both internally and externally, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and reporting to align with client financial requirements
- Support and implement change management strategies, ensuring any changes are effectively assessed, approved, and communicated
- Oversee procurement activities from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with governance and contractual requirements
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a live operational environment, ensuring safety, security, and minimal disruption to operations
- Apply performance measurement techniques and provide detailed reports on programme status, highlighting key risks, mitigations, and progress against targets
- Lead the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycle
- Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker
- Work with the technical teams in coordinating and managing the design consultants and other external service providers
- Organise the appropriate design review meetings and be responsible for communicating design acceptance to the Contractor
- Be responsible for communicating design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders who may be impacted
- Report monthly on the tasks throughout the project's lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken
- Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings
- Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques
- Manage the change control process
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Actively manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment of objectives and proactive resolution of any issues
- Administer and manage contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with terms and handling of any contractual disputes or variations
- Ensure governance compliance and proper documentation for all decisions, approvals, and deliverables in line with semi-state requirements
- Coordinate and monitor procurement deliverables, ensuring suppliers meet required standards and timelines
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects of varying scale, from inception to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence
- Minimum 5 years in the Construction/Infrastructure sector including on relevant aviation and/or other related projects of a similar size and complexity
