We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical organisation based in Dublin 18, South Dublin. This is an 6-month contract role with a strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.As a Senior Accountant, you will join the RTR (Record to Report) Accounting Team, reporting to the RTR Manager and working alongside a team of six experienced accountants. You'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, supporting multiple entities and contributing to a variety of exciting projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the monthly general ledger close process, ensuring adherence to US GAAP.Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.Execute SOX control activities in line with the company's compliance framework.Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and provide financial insight and support as required.Assist with the successful delivery of internal and external audits.Oversee standard cost releases in SAP and evaluate the financial impact of changes to product flows.Key Requirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience within a multinational environment.Available to start within 2-4 weeks.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Strong IT proficiency, ideally with experience in SAP and advanced Excel skills (or similar systems).What's on Offer:Hybrid working model: 4 days onsite in South Dublin, 1 day remoteExcellent location with on-site parking, Luas stop at the door, and bus routes within a 5-minute walkGreat opportunity to grow your experience in a highly reputable organisationIf you're a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of US GAAP and are looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
