The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at the new facility. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a senior role requiring strong operations, engineering, and leadership skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational performance, supporting team development, and ensuring continued customer satisfaction. The goal is to boost profitability and ensure smooth and efficient company operations.Key Responsibilities;Oversee daily business operations, drive strategic initiatives and ensure overall business successDevelop and implement business strategies to support growth and business excellenceLead the operations, engineering/quality, procurement, and administration functionsManage the operations department to the highest standards to satisfy customer expectations and on-time deliveryEnsure optimum performance of HR, hiring, and training processesBuild relationships with key customers across diverse marketsSet objectives and improve systems and proceduresCollaborate with finance to manage budgets and design improvements to optimise financial performance and operational efficiencyWork closely with sales/account management teams to deliver total customer satisfactionBuild, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of meeting organisational objectivesTake responsibility for health and safety standards across the organisationMaintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new businessDevelop, promote, and implement continuous improvement initiativesQualifications and Experience;Proven experience at management level within manufacturing and engineeringRelevant third-level qualification (desirable)Excellent leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training, and mentorship
