JOB DESCRIPTION Place: Resource Centre, St. Mary's Community Hall, Muff, Co. Donegal. Immediate Supervisor: Chairperson, Muff Community Development Co-op Management Committee. Hours and Rate of Pay: Full-time flexible position (39 hours per week) at €31,460.70 gross per annum. Main Purpose: The Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Co-op; the management of staff and liaising with volunteers; and sourcing and securing all available funding. The Manager will also be expected to plan, initiate and develop community programmes; identify appropriate training for employees and market co-op facilities/services. He/she will be expected to perform the following and to undertake any other duties that may from time to time become necessary, but these may be subject to change as the project and post develops. IT and Time-Management Skills essential. Duties/Responsibilities: • Monitoring computer based financial systems and financial records to ensure that information regarding state of the company accounts is available to the Committee of Management. • Preparing budgets as directed by the Chairperson and providing regular status reports. • Producing, in conjunction with the Treasurers, monthly financial management reports. • Preparation for, securing and management of funding in conjunction with the General Office Administrator and Management Committee. • Generating financial returns and reports to funders, e.g. Pobal, IDP, HSE. • Manage CSP services at Muff Community Hall, Muff Community Park and Quigley's Point Community Centre. • Developing programmes for the delivery of services to meet community needs. • Staff supervision, management, training and development. • Reporting to Management Committee at its meetings. • Develop, in conjunction with Management Committee, staff and the community a five year strategic plan for the organisation. • Plan, organise and deliver fundraising and income generation initiatives. Level of Authority & Relationship to Other Jobs: Reporting to Chairperson of Muff Community Development Co-op Management Committee. Working closely with other staff employed on the Community Services Programme, Rural Social Scheme and Volunteers.
