- Lead the commercial management of multiple Data Centre construction projects from tender through to final account
- Provide commercial leadership across major MEP packages within complex technical construction programmes
- Manage and support commercial teams delivering valuations, cost reporting, forecasting and financial controls
- Support commercial strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and project management teams
- Review, negotiate and ensure execution of all contractual documentation prior to project commencement
- Provide commercial input during tendering, procurement and contract negotiation stages
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract execution and supply chain management
- Drive margin protection through effective commercial controls and risk management
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities across multiple projects
- Implement mitigation strategies and ensure risk registers are maintained and monitored
- Support dispute management and resolution processes in collaboration with internal legal teams
- Produce accurate commercial reporting for senior leadership including project financial performance
- Monitor cost value reconciliations and financial performance across project portfolios
- Support pre-construction teams with commercial input during tender stages
- Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared across the commercial team
- Interpret and apply contract conditions across major construction contracts
- Draft contractual correspondence to clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Provide commercial advice to project leadership on contract compliance and risk management
- Mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors across project teams
- Promote collaboration across commercial, engineering and construction teams
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
- Proven experience as a Senior MEP Commercial Manager, Commercial Manager or equivalent within construction
- Experience delivering major projects within mission critical infrastructure, data centres or complex construction environments
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial risk management and dispute resolution
- Experience managing commercial teams across multiple projects or large-scale programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage high-value mechanical and electrical packages within complex construction environments
- Experience preparing commercial reports and interpreting cost and financial data
- EU Passport required
- Chartered membership with RICS, CIOB or equivalent professional body
- Experience delivering hyperscale data centre or mission critical projects
- Experience working within Tier 1 or large international contractors
- Experience with digital commercial management systems and reporting tools
