- Lead the commercial management of MEP packages across Data Centre construction projects
- Integrate and manage the commercial strategy across the project in collaboration with senior commercial leadership
- Take ownership of commercial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare tenders, analyse subcontractor proposals and manage subcontract procurement
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and manage packages through to final account
- Prepare and present forecasts, commercial targets and cost value reconciliations
- Prepare and agree project valuations including certification and payment processes
- Manage variations and compensation events with appropriate documentation and supporting records
- Update projected final accounts regularly and manage final account negotiations
- Contribute to value engineering and design development processes
- Maintain and protect commercial and contractual entitlement across project activities
- Maintain accurate site records, commercial documentation and contract administration
- Manage insurance, warranties and contractual obligations
- Review and update project risk and opportunity registers
- Monitor commercial risk and implement mitigation strategies
- Identify and manage commercial opportunities to improve project outcomes
- Support dispute resolution processes where required
- Mentor and support Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors within the team
- Promote collaboration across commercial, engineering and construction teams
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Experience delivering MEP packages on Data Centre or mission critical construction projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage complex contractual issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to manage both people and commercial situations effectively
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior commercial staff
- Strong organisational, time management and reporting skills
- EU Passport required
- Experience delivering data centre or mission critical infrastructure projects
- Chartered membership with RICS, CIOB or equivalent professional body
- Experience working with Tier 1 or international contractors
- Knowledge of commercial reporting systems and digital project controls
