Accounts AssistantOur client part of an international group are currently looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join their team on a contract basis.Reporting to the Finance Manager role will involve:Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing Sales OrdersReceiving sales orders from the sales teamCreating orders on the operating systemIssuing deposit invoices where requiredLiaising with the Installations Department regarding job completionIssuing final invoices to customers upon job completionManaging Chargeable InvoicingRequesting purchase orders (POs) from customersIssuing invoices and worksheets for completed “call-out” service jobsLiaising with the Service Desk and engineers regarding completed jobs and queriesLiaising with customers (in conjunction with the Credit Control Department) to resolve invoice queriesRaising credit notes where requiredCustomer Contract ProcessingIssuing contract invoices as they fall due (monthly, quarterly, annually)Creating contracts for new customersAmending existing contracts, including adding or removing equipmentSkills & ExperienceExperience working with a multi-currency system (EUR & GBP) is advantageousStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work accurately in a fast-paced environmentThis is a lovely role for an accounts assistant with 2 years experience.
