Gourmet Fuel is an essential food manufacturing business looking to expand its team. Commis Chef required to work at Gourmet Fuel T30 Rowan Ave, Stillorgan Business Park, Dublin, A94 V326. The candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes; monitoring food and waste control; and ensuring food hygiene standards are met. Salary: €34,000 per annum. Working hours: 39 per week. Duties include, Weighing and preparing of meals as per production run. To assume full responsibility for your food section. Following all recipes as per instruction Ensure the highest standards of health and safety To ensure regulatory compliance at all times for all food production areas. To familiarise yourself with all aspects of supply procedures - ordering, delivery procedures, stock rotation and control procedures. To ensure implementation of the company's control procedures in respect to food production, portion control and stock management. To complete all goods received Temp control and commodity stock sheets. To work with the Management Team to identify efficiencies through innovative working practices. Skills/requirements Good communicator Flexible and co-operative Hard Working Works off own initiative Able to meet deadlines Experience in a similar role Numeracy skills Attention to detail Fluent in English 2+ years in the previous role essential Experience essential as this is a fast-paced food manufacturing environment that requires speed, accuracy, precision and a good attitude. only applicants with previous fast-paced kitchen experience in a busy environment will be considered for this role. availability to work weekends essential.
