Hartley People Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading company in the Manufacturing Industry based in Co. Waterford. We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their growing team.The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC vertical machining centres, with the opportunity to work on CNC Mill / Turn machines also.This is a great opportunity to join a progressive company focused on delivering high-quality CNC machined components and assemblies.Key Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC vertical machining centres
Create and optimise CNC programs using CAM software (Fusion 360)
Perform precision machining operations to meet quality standards
Work independently to meet production deadlines on your own and as part of a team.
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions
Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
Proficiency in CNC programming for vertical machining centers
CAM software skills are not essential but an advantage. We will provide training if required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of CAM Software (advantageous but not required)
CAD software experience (advantageous but not required)
Knowledge of CNC lathe and mill-turn operations (advantageous but not required)
Knowledge of quality control procedures and measuring instruments
