We are assisting a well known growing Irish business to identify a Management Accountant to join their team in a newly created role, being offered on an initial 12-month contract.As part of this role you have the opportunity to add real value to the company while working closely with senior management, with a string view to permanency following the contract.ABOUT THE ROLE:Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts;
Provide cost analysis, identifying areas for improvement or cost savings;
Liaise and communicate with stakeholders across the business;
Monitor costs and gross margins;
Stock management;
Continually work to identify efficiencies and improvements;
Ad hoc projects as required.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
Must have previous cost accounting experience;
Ability to prioritise work and achieve tight deadlines;
Previous manufacturing experience a distinct advantage;
Ability to work on own initiative.
Strong communication and commercial ability.
