- Design and deliver engaging, effective Health & Safety training, including industry-recognised courses (e.g. CITB SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent).
- Coach and empower employees at all levels to adopt and uphold Sisk’s health and safety values.
- Champion the use of the Sisk Health & Safety Management System, ensuring it’s understood and applied.
- Create a first-class learning experience, online and in-person, to boost safety performance across the business.
- Collaborate closely with Learning & Development and Health & Safety teams to develop and evolve training aligned with business needs.
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling, reporting, issuing certificates, and updating calendars.
- Regularly evaluate and improve training effectiveness, keeping content relevant and legally compliant.
- Proven experience delivering safety training in the construction sector (minimum 5 years).
- Skilled in engaging, practical training delivery, using various formats including online (MS Teams).
- Expertise in courses such as CITB Site Safety Plus (SMSTS/SSSTS), and ideally UKATA Asbestos Awareness or similar.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other digital tools for developing and delivering training.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and influencing skills.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to analyse training effectiveness and improve learning outcomes.
- NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety or equivalent.
- PTLLS, QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer, or equivalent instructional qualification.
- Eligible to work in Ireland without restriction.
- Additional qualifications such as Tech IOSH, Grad IOSH, or Internal Auditor are a plus.
- Experience working with CITB/SOLAS standards and Central Learning & Development functions preferred.
