Our HQ is in Dublin Ireland.The RoleWe are looking for a talented back-end developer to work on an exciting new project on fixed term 6 month contract. The role will involve liaising, discussing and collaborating with front and back end engineers and UX designers to achieve a good design. We want someone who is motivated by emerging technologies and has a passion to drive digital transformation. A real desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment is essential.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping high quality, testable and performance software using agile practices; to have a particular emphasis on developing testable software.Driving best technology and software development practices in the team with passion and enthusiasm; software technologies and best practices are constantly evolving, get involved with helping to improve the team.Assisting analysts and business stakeholders in shaping, estimating and planning new requirements.Participating in regular showcases of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders.Striving for continuous improvement within the team.RequirementsExperience with microservices, deployment and orchestrationExperienced with webservices2+ years of experience using Linux and GitProficient in NodeJS, PHP, Typescript, GrapgQLProfessional experience in React. Knowledge of Angular framework, or a willingness to learn is needed.Comfortable coding PHP and custom JavaScript solutions as well as utilising existing frameworks.Exposure or appreciation of agile development practice:

Documenting tickets through Jira
Unit testing
Passionate about user experience.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Excellent understanding of the coding standards required from a security and performance perspective.IT Bachelor’s degree.2- -3 years’ experience in a fast paced commercial environment.You must have a strong level of English to be considered for this job. We are a bilingual company (English & Portuguese) however many of the requirements regarding the development process are through the English language.
