We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our consultancy team, where you will lead the delivery of major transportation projects including Bus Connects. In this role, you will managing the full design process and act as a key interface between the client and all other stakeholders.
This is a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile infrastructure schemes. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with 10+ years of experience, a strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery, and proven skills in design coordination, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. You'll play a central role in developing company strategy and delivering sustainable, integrated transport solutions in a dynamic and collaborative setting.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration and performance.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of specialist sub-consultants
- Provide direction on scheme development and delivery strategies.
- Monitor project performance.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent recognised professional body.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, roads, or transport infrastructure.
- Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability in client and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering high levels of satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
- Strong technical understanding of road design, traffic management, public transport, and/or active travel.
- Familiarity with transport design guidance including DMURS, National Cycle Design Manual, NTA PAGs and TII Publications.
