We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.MissionValeo mission is to be the World Leader within the automotive industry in developing innovative ADAS and IVI systemsResponsibilitiesTechnical and functional review of test specifications; SW design specifications; SW implementationDevelop source code in accordance with coding guidelines and MISRA standard, Review of justifications and solutionsCode review organizer and lead reviewsResponsible for module testing; module test report; static code analysis (e.g. module Klocwork, Linting, QAC or Polyspace)Maintain work products in CM databaseEnsuring the work is done in a way which satisfies the company QA requirements and company software quality processes e.g. ASPICE, ISO15504.Generate PRs and CRs for any problems foundResponsible for implementing fixes and changes required by PRs and CRs.Participating in design reviewsParticipating in project and team meetings as requestedMonitor and review software development activities on project and highlight progress / risk to team leader and hierarchical managerAssist software team leader with the following tasks as agreed:- Reviews of Internal requirements, Customer requirements, Specifications etc.- General software & product design reviews and problem resolution.- Product and project risk analysis- Customer communication, meetings- Preparing technical presentations- Traveling to customer sitesComplete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver software development output to the project team as per agreed timing planAbility to Technically Lead: workshops; customer communication on technical topicsMentoring fellow engineersEducation/TrainingGraduate in Electronic, Computer or Software EngineeringMaster in Engineering / SW Development topics an advantageProfessional Experience5+ years Experience in SW DevelopmentExpert knowledge in Embedded Targets and PeripheralsExpert knowledge in C / C++ / Python programming / shell scriptingGood knowledge of embedded software system design conceptsGood understanding of Electronics / Hardware DesignMulti-core / SoC debuggingProfiling Memory & CPU / KPI analysisFamiliarity with quality assurance practiceUsed Source Control tools (e.g. Git); Ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA); CI systems (e.g. Jenkins)Experience with Agile project developmentHigh degree of innovation and creativityGood communication skills, both written and verbalGood team player and ability to adapt to varying tasks on a weekly basisConfident, self-motivated, determined, energetic with high level of initiative and creativityJob: R&D EngineerOrganization: Software DevelopmentSchedule: Full timeEmployee Status: RegularJob Type: Permanent contractJob Posting Date: 2025-08-26Join Us !
