This position performs mechanical repairs, diagnosis and troubleshooting of LCV & HGVResponsibilities:
  • Performs repairs on standard transmission & automatic vehicles.
  • Maintenance & repairs of all UPS vehicles
  • Carry out 8 weekly safety inspections on HGV.
  • Carry out diagnostics/troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical faults.
  • Carry out yearly stock take.
  • Complete online daily timecard & service history
  • Complete digital safety inspection sheets & Pmi sheets.
  • Completed all CVRT & CVRT voluntary test with first time pass rate.
  • Working to RSA guidance/standards for all repairs.
Qualifications:
  • Must meet local age and license requirements.
  • B License required – C license - preferred
  • Possesses complete set of hand tools.
  • Fleet diesel experience - Preferred.
  • QQI level 6 motor mechanics craft certificate or EU equivalent – required.
