Deputy Quality ManagerAn established food manufacturing site Co. Longford is seeking an experienced Deputy Quality Manager to support and strengthen its Quality team.Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and quality systems, while leading a team of QA staff.Location: Co. Longford
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experiencePension Contribution Scheme
Monday - Friday, standard working hoursKey Responsibilities:

Support QMS and FSMS (incl. HACCP, GMP)
Lead internal audits, manage complaints & non-conformances
Be audit-ready: liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
Oversee pest control and hygiene programs on site
Lead and develop a team of QA Technicians
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D

What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Food Science or similar
Experience in food quality within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, and retailer standards
Leadership and team management experience
Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Audit experience (internal and external)
