The Safety Engineer manages the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a safe, accident-free, healthy work environment, compliant with all applicable EHS regulations and company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments, JSAs, and safety reviews
Ensure compliance with EHS laws, standards, and corporate policies
Support safety in design, construction, and equipment modifications
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Develop and deliver EHS training programs
Drive safety culture through employee engagement and communication
Monitor EHS metrics and support audits/inspections
Manage occupational health, emergency response, and security programs
Maintain GMP and quality system compliance
Adapt to evolving EHS priorities and site needs
Achieve a series of effective EHS KPIs for the site and maintain compliance.

Key Requirements:

Degree qualified in Automation, Electrical or Process Engineering essential
Minimum of Level 6 Certificate in Health & Safety from an accredited institution or Tech IOSH certification, or proven experience in process safety
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a GMP production environment, preferably in medical, pharma or technology sector.
Experience in carrying out ergonomic, chemical and occupational noise assessments is highly desirable.
