EHS Engineer – 12 month FTC

Hartley People Recruitment are seeking an EHS Engineer to join our clients safety team on a 12-month FTC.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in machine safety assessments across all site operations.
  • Support the team in EHS management and execution of new projects and programs.
  • Provide EHS expertise for change management process, including review and approval of equipment and machinery modifications from EHS perspective.
  • Develop and implement site occupational health programs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of site security protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Automation, Electrical or Process Engineering essential.
  • Minimum of Level 6 Certificate in Health & Safety from an accredited institution or Tech IOSH certification, or proven experience in process safety.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a GMP production environment, preferably in medical, pharma or technology sector.
  • Experience in carrying out ergonomic, chemical and occupational noise assessments is highly desirable.
