RealTime is looking for a Network Engineer with experience working in busy environments, with a wide range of customers across multiple network technologies. You will be process-oriented with attention to detail & have strong troubleshooting and excellent communication skill
Joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of ICT environments. To excel in this role, you should showcase strong ICT technical skills and possess excellent communication abilities, along with keen attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities will encompass addressing a variety of requests, spanning routing/switching, firewall, VoIP, and IT support, surpassing the expectations of our clients.Key Responsibilities:- Play a pivotal role in supporting IT infrastructure, networks, and security.- Support, configure, and install network security devices, with a primary focus on Sonicwall and Fortinet.- Enhance and maintain documentation of customers' network environments.- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshoot to resolve issues.- Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams for issue resolution.- Implement Network Infrastructures and oversee network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.- Adhere to established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes to the network infrastructure.Requirements:- Hold an IT Degree or possess an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.- Demonstrate prior experience in supporting Network Routing, Switching, and Security.- Possess knowledge in areas such as Logging, network access control, Sonicwall or Fortinet routing and switching, VPN, and firewall configuration.- Have experience in virtualization technologies, such as VMware.- Familiarity with storage/backup best practices for hardware and operating systems.- Possess a strong technical understanding of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including significant hardware troubleshooting experience.- Demonstrate effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels, from technical and non-technical backgrounds to end-users and senior management.Apply:- Call: Shane on 01-6520652- Email: shane.doolin@realtime.jobs- You must hold a valid working Visa or an EU passport to be considered.- No Sponsorship is provided or supported
