- The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 in Electrical engineering. or equivalent and be enrolled in an MS or PhD programme.
- The student must have completed course work and show a good understanding of wireless systems including analogue/RF, digital, communications theory and digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with either MATLAB or Python is required to progress assigned project.
- Students with experience in algorithm development preferred.
- Good communicator with an eagerness to learn and willingness to take ownership, good analytical skills, proactive approach in solving exciting technological challenges and make an impact.
- Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems and related system simulation and algorithm development, as well as analogue/mixed-signal, digital and RF circuits.
- Learn about UWB radio and its utility to support two-way ranging and other real time location systems (RTLS) use cases, communication systems and radar applications.
- Design novel algorithms to support real world use-cases.
- Identify trade-offs in system implementation, and deployment constraints, either through simulation studies or through hands-on hardware experiments as required.
- Developing system simulations and baseband architectures.
- Report and presentation at the end of the internship on the work performed.
