- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to standards and policies while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Inventory and Supplies: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets effectively to ensure the availability of necessary cleaning materials and equipment.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with other hotel departments, especially front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences and timely room turnover.
- Procedures and Policies: Develop and enforce housekeeping procedures and policies, including safety protocols and eco-friendly practices, to uphold the hotel's reputation and standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, staff performance, and budget utilization, providing insights for improvements and efficiency.
- Have a minimum of 2-year at manager level in a busy hotel environment.
- Provide a superb guest service and have excellent people skills
- Excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards
- Have good knowledge or both written and spoken English
- Be able to multi-task and be willing to help where required in all areas of the hotel.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Be available and flexible for early starts and late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.
