Huawei Ireland Research centerWe are looking for a HR Administrative Assistant to handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties. This role is to support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.HR Assistant should be able to work autonomously and assist in a wide range of HR duties, like managing temps and contractor workers, producing documents, briefing papers, reports/ presentations, organizing and attending HR related meetings.An ideal candidate for the position holds an academic HR background or have relevant human resources work experience.ResponsibilitiesIncludes but not limited to:
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties and support processing of HR life cycle (onboarding, offboarding procedure for permanent employee, outsourced contractors, expats and interns).
  • Following the process of new hiring outsourced contractors, contractors' renewal and intern's renewal.
  • Response for all the HR related queries both staff and management.
  • Compiling and updating employee records (soft copies) and maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data on HRIS system.
  • Organize necessary courses and training sessions for all staff.
  • Responsible for critical skill work permit application, Intra-company transfer employment permit (expats) and other business visa invitation letters as request.
  • Responsible for expats' work permit application and renewal, work visa, income tax refund, 52 weeks PRSI exemption application.
  • Responsible for summary the monthly payroll changes as required.
  • Coordinating all aspects of event planning and management and work collaboratively to organize team-building activities & corporate events.
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to HR manager and HRD.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration/HR/Psychology or other relevant subject with major in Management or specialized qualification preferred;
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant practical experience in HR field.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs.
  • Team spirit, openness for an international environment and Chinese business culture.
  • Be familiar with Irish immigration rules, especial in Irish business visa, critical work permit requirement.
  • Be familiar with employment laws in Ireland.
  • Must be systematic, detail oriented, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks with discretion.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
