Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a construction project in Donegal. You will oversee all site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with broad construction experience and strong leadership skills.Role Overview:
You will manage subcontractors, coordinate resources, maintain high safety and quality standards, and act as the main point of contact for client and design teams. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues quickly.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all on-site operations from start to finishEnsure works are delivered safely, on time, snag-free, and to specificationManage subcontractors and site staff to achieve high-quality outputs with minimal reworkMonitor progress against the construction programme, identifying and addressing delaysMaintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliersLead daily site briefings and ensure health & safety compliance at all timesPrepare method statements, risk assessments, and progress reportsSupervise setting out and surveying activitiesManage materials, plant requisitions, and site resources effectivelyEnsure RFI and submittals processes are tracked and up to dateRequirements:2–5 years’ experience as a Site Manager (essential)Relevant qualification in Construction or Project Management (desirable)Strong knowledge of the construction industry and project deliveryComputer literate (MS Office, Project, or similar)Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standardExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsCommercial awareness and client relationship management experienceFull driver’s licenceWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salaryCompany vehicle/transport allowanceLaptop and phone providedCareer progression opportunitiesFlexible working between Sligo and Maynooth when not on siteProfessional development and mentoring towards recognised qualificationsContinuous Professional Development (CPD) trainingLife insurance (Death in Service benefit)Lifestyle benefits (Bike to Work Scheme, gym membership)Employee Assistance ProgrammeLoyalty reward scheme (extra leave for long service)Referral reward schemeSocial club
