Senior Cybersecurity Engineer I'm curently recruiting for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support the strengthening and ongoing development of security across enterprise and cloud environments for my client in Dublin City Centre.This role sits across security engineering, infrastructure, and cloud security, with a strong focus on improving resilience, visibility, and control across hybrid systems.Hybrid Role: 2-3 Days Onsite | Initial 6 Month Contract with view to extend.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement security controls across enterprise infrastructure and cloud platformsOperate and enhance EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools to improve detection and response capabilityLead vulnerability remediation activities, including patch management and risk reductionSupport secure network architecture, including firewalls, segmentation, and secure connectivityDevelop and maintain security standards, policies, and operational proceduresSupport compliance with frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS2Collaborate with internal engineering teams, cloud teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure secure-by-design deliveryRequired Experience5+ years' experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or systems security rolesEDR and SIEM platformsVulnerability management tools (e.g Tenable, Qualys) and patch management processesNetwork security (firewalls, segmentation, secure architecture design)Microsoft 365 and Azure security controlsActive Directory, IAM, and PAMAzure cloud security principlesZero Trust architectureDesirable ExperienceIncident response, security operations, or alert triage experienceExposure to threat hunting, log analysis, or digital forensicsExperience supporting audits, risk assessments, or regulatory reportingRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CySA+, Security+, or equivalentPersonal AttributesStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholdersComfortable working across multiple teams and managing third-party relationshipsAbility to work in complex, fast-paced enterprise environments Additional InformationImmediate interviews with prompt start date available.
