Nico's is a popular café-style restaurant located in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, offering a diverse fusion menu that includes Irish breakfasts, and Asian-inspired dishes. We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen and assist the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, multi-cuisine meals to our customers.. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes across multiple cuisines including Irish and Asian meals (e.g., stir-fries, noodles, dumplings) Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen and ensure smooth operation during service Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene Monitor stock and assist in ordering section-specific ingredients, including Asian products Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required Assist in developing new menu items and contributing ideas for seasonal specials Essential Requirements: Previous professional experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment Strong working knowledge of both European and Asian cuisine preparation techniques Ability to manage a section independently while supporting team service Understanding of food safety, HACCP guidelines, and kitchen hygiene standards Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
