Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: DOESchedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (approx. 7am–4:30pm)Team: 2 Maintenance TechniciansReports To: Operations ManagerAn established and growing food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead site-wide maintenance operations at its production facility. This is a hands-on, strategic role that plays a key part in ensuring equipment availability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across a wide range of processing technologies.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all maintenance operations to support production targets and site performance.Provide practical engineering support to ensure optimal equipment reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.Oversee the site's Preventative Maintenance Program—scheduling, optimisation, and continuous improvement.Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing and asset management.Maintain and control spare parts inventory to minimise downtime.Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians through effective leadership and training.Supervise external contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.Drive plant improvement initiatives and support capital equipment installations or upgrades.Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal health & safety protocols.Promote and maintain a safety-first culture across all maintenance activities.Qualifications & Experience:Third-level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering—or equivalent relevant experience.Trade-qualified candidates with strong site-based leadership experience will also be considered.Proven track record in a similar maintenance leadership role, ideally in a food production or FMCG environment.Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and reliability-focused maintenance.Experience with PMAC systems and plant performance optimisation.Preferred Skills:Strong troubleshooting skills and project management experience for equipment upgrades or installations.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.A proactive, hands-on mindset with a continuous improvement approach.At Quorum Search Partners we respect your privacy.
