Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on major data centre projects in Denmark. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing commercial team on large-scale, technically complex developments across Northern Europe.The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple projects, ensure strong commercial performance while maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships.Duties and Responsibilities:Commercial Management & Project Delivery

Manage multiple projects to maximise commercial returns while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Track project deliverables and ensure commercial and administrative systems, budgets, and cost control procedures are effectively implemented
Lead the commercial planning and execution of projects
Review tender documentation in detail to identify risks and opportunities
Monitor project performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project teams

Cost Control & Reporting

Report on actual costs versus estimates, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures
Prepare and present reports outlining project progress, risks, and solutions
Ensure proactive cost control and financial management throughout the project lifecycle
Provide commercial and contractual advice to support client objectives

Procurement & Contract Management

Review and approve subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure subcontracts are properly prepared and managed in line with agreed scope
Maintain contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms, including detailed analysis of claims, variations, and EOT notifications
Ensure all project team members understand contractual obligations and requirements

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

Manage and support commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery
Build and maintain strong client and PQS relationships
Support collaboration across project teams and stakeholders

Necessary skills and requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline
6+ years’ experience in quantity surveying within construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (RIAI, FIDIC, JCT, etc.)
Proven commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs and risks effectively
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and reporting ability
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
