Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale residential development in West Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSite Management & CoordinationAssist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the construction site.Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project schedules.Monitor site progress against programme and report any delays or issues.Ensure compliance with the construction programme and sequencing of works.Quality ControlCarry out inspections to ensure workmanship meets design, specification, and quality standards.Assist with snagging and resolution of defects during construction and handover.Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, photographs, and reports.Health & SafetyPromote and enforce the company's Health & Safety policies on site.Conduct and record site inductions and toolbox talks.Monitor safe working practices and report unsafe acts or conditions.Administration & CommunicationLiaise with design teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.Assist with ordering materials and managing deliveries to site.Keep detailed records of site activities, labour, and plant usage.RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceDegree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent trade background with site experience).2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably on residential or housing projects.Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and residential construction methods.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent organisational and time-management skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.Competent in reading and interpreting construction drawings.Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software is an advantage.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Package & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Company vehicle or travel allowance.Pension scheme and other benefits.For further information please contact Thomas in Brightpath RecruitmentINDTW
