Salary € 40,000-60,000, 60,000-80,000The RoleRole Overview:We are seeking to appoint a Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA) to join our team as a Financial Accountant. This role will work closely with the Director of Finance & HR and will play a key part in delivering monthly financial reporting and driving the continuous development of financial reporting processes and internal controls.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models and spreadsheets, ensuring high standards of accuracy and detail.
  • Monitor and improve financial controls and processes to support robust financial governance.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as required, including process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Assist with cash flow management and reporting.
  • Prepare variance analysis and explain significant movements to management.
The Person
  • 1 or 2 years of experience as Financial Accountant
  • Finalist or newly qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and strong spreadsheet analysis skills, with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
