- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
- Offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
- Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
- Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programmes for families and professionals.
- Uphold the ethical standards of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and other regulatory bodies.
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (must be validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland).
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
- Eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
- Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
- Experience delivering training or psychoeducation to families or professionals
