Technical Sales Representative – Groundworks Division
Location: Dublin – Leinster based

About the Role
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for construction and groundworks solutions? This is your opportunity to step into a key role within a fast-paced, forward-thinking company where your commercial acumen and relationship-building skills will directly drive success.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will lead the charge in expanding their Hire and Sales footprint across your region. You’ll work closely with clients from initial contact through to deal closure, ensuring their needs are met with expert advice and outstanding customer care. You’ll not only hit targets, you’ll help set them.
Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Secure orders across our full range of groundworks products and services.
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional service from first contact to post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and lead information.
  • Stay fully up to speed on our product suite, pricing, and sales collateral.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer enquiries and provide timely quotations.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of market trends and competitor activity, reporting insights regularly to management.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Engineers, and Branch staff to drive project success across regions.
  • Strategically plan your time in the field to maximize productivity and business impact.
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
  • Results-driven with a solid track record of meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to build rapport and close deals effectively.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Full driving license (clean preferred).
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and time-management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
